SEE PHOTOS 2 AND 3 TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS
Gas cylinder 14 inches in extended length (35.56 cm) and 24 pounds of power. The contracted length is 8.03 inch / 20.4 cm and the rod stroke is 5.97 inch / 15.16 cm. The diameter of the cylinder is 15 mm and that of the rod is 6 mm.
How to know which cylinder to choose:
1- It is necessary to measure the length of the cylinder when the latter is extended to the maximum and the measurement must be taken between the 2 centers of the end sleeves. See photo 2 and 3.
2- Determine the power by locating the manufacturer's printing label. The 2 or 3 digits at the end of the product code represent the number of pounds the cylinder can hold.
Ex: GSNI - 5100 - 30 or 30 is the cylinder horsepower in pounds.
> If the product code includes a number followed by a NOT or vice versa, the power will be represented in Newtons.
Ex: 16-1-168 -105-A4 B4-200N where 200 is the cylinder power in Newtons.
When you have the length and horsepower of the cylinder, you are ready to make the right choice.
